Innerleithen MTB Racing has announced energy company Vattenfall as the headline sponsor of the two-day enduro to be held on May 28-29.
The event will see riders compete across six tracks, making their way to the start of each section in their own time before being individually timed over the largely downhill trail and heading to the next stage. There will be cash prizes for the top performers as well as spot prizes throughout the weekend.
An optional dual slalom (free to enter) will run on the Saturday evening alongside the event race party and BBQ.
Also joining Vattenfall in supporting the enduro are local businesses Alpine Bikes, The Bike Lodge, Visit Tweed Valley and the Traquair Arms Hotel, in addition to the support already provided by i-cycles and Bike Track People.
“Our events are very much community based and their success depends on the support and involvement of local people,” said Innerleithen MTB Racing’s Helen Findlay.
“It is fantastic that Vattenfall have teamed up with us again in supporting this event.”
Entry costs £45 for the weekend. Head this way to secure your spot.
