The course
As you all know we are running the Bikefest for the last time in a clockwise directions and the guys from Archtrail working flat-out on the quarry trails and one more new section which we will hopefully be able to use in the event. So all is going to plan at this stage and even with only having a closer look (rather than a ride) at the new stuff the course will be 100% fun. In fact you can watch a video preview of the course here and there’s a map here.
Camping
If you have pre-booked your camping pitch then please check where you pitch is and on the directions and course page how to get to your designated campground. If you can’t remember your pitch number please check the riders list on the home page.
Please make sure that you go directly to your designated campground to avoid delays and parking problems. If you haven’t booked a camping pitch then please make your way directly to campground no 2. which is off the B 3129. As the B 3129 is running between the two campgrounds please be extremely careful when crossing the road at all times!
Day parking
With the campground behind the event village being rather full we would like to ask everybody who is not camping and is only driving in for the race to go directly to campground no.2 (Rugby Club).
Entry list
Confirmed entries can be found on the entry list which is located on the website. This list will be updated on a regular bases and besides showing you if you have entered successfully or not also shows your camping location. Camping behind the event village (campground no.1) is divided in numbered pitches while you can pick your own spot if you are camping on the rugby pitch (campground no.2). Please make sure that you go directly to your allocated camping ground to easy traffic.
Bath Ale at BBF
Part of endurance racing is to get that well deserved drink after your last lap and this year we have again a special treat for everybody. We got together with Bath Ale (www.bathales.com/index.html) again and will have a well stock bar Bath Ale, some lagers and ciders on Friday and Saturday night. So make sure you give your best in the last lap as that makes that drink even nicer!
