Last weekend saw the popular Ritchey Bikefest event take place, packing in a lot of enduro racing on the Saturday and Sunday on the fast, demanding and rewarding Ashton Court track.
Here’s a quick roundup of the winners over the many categories, a full post-event report is coming.
Saturday racing
Team Torq wrapped up the 12-hour pairs male event on Saturday, and from Plymouth Team Yogi clinched the 12-hour pairs female race.
In the 12-hour solo category Amanda Brooks won the women’s race with 21 laps in 11hrs 12mins and Ian Longville wrapped up the victory in 11hrs 42mins with 25 laps completed.
In the team races LVIS Wonder Women rode 23 laps to win the women’s class and Psyclewerx pit in 31 laps to take the men’s title. Team Torq took the honours in the team mixed race, with 29 laps.
Sunday racing
It was close in the 3-hours pairs male race, in the end Bromley Ravens A clinched the win. Team Sloman won the 3-hours pairs mixed, Leila Cox took the top step of the podium in the women’s race and Scott Chambers won the men’s race.
In the 6-hour event it was Bike Shed Wales who took the honours in the pairs male category, Retrobike.co.uk/Mountain Har won the pairs mixed and female race with 13 laps, Lydia Gould romped home in first place in the solo female class with 10 laps and finishing with 12 laps Al Fairbairn won the men’s solo race.
In the 6-hour team events Rock and Road Yeovil won the team male race with 13 laps in 5hrs 51mins and TF Tune won in the Old Gits and Mixed category, with 11 laps in 5hrs 54mins.
