Is 2012 set to be the year of the 29ers? Well that depends a lot on who you speak to. A good measure will be the bikes on show at the London Bike Show this week, held at the Excel Centre on 12 – 15 January 2012.

One brand that will be exhibiting 29ers is Whyte Bikes. They’ve just let us know that they’ll have the new Carbon 29er on display, available in two builds, C and CS.

This is the debut year for the brand into the 29er market, and based on our impressions when we rode a Whyte 29er last year, it’s been a well judged move.
