Planet-X is back making mountain bikes after almost a decade away, with the release of the Dirty Harry 29er.
The company has roots in mountain biking, its first ever frame was the Jack Flash. Over the years the brand has focused on road bikes while sister brand On-One looked after the off-road side of things. But that’s all set to change.
The new Dirty Harry is a hardtail designed around a 100mm fork and is aimed at endurance and adventure riders and racers. Its carbon fibre frame keeps the weight down and there’ s a tapered headtube to keep the front stiff and tracking sharply.
“Dirty Harry is a tear-your-legs off bike, a lactic acid bath, world of pain bike, a bike that will release buckets of endorphins, make you cry in pain and scream in joy,” growls the press release.
It’ll cost £499.99 for the frame or a SRAM X9 build, as pictured, will cost £1799.99.
