Yeti SB-95A
Launched last year, the SB-95A is Yeti’s newest 29er offering, and uses the same clever Switch Technology as the 26in SB-66.
What makes it special?
Yeti went to the drawing board and worked hard on a unique approach with its Switch Technology suspension design. It incorporates a single forged housing for the upper pivot and eccentric assembly, a dual-link design that switches direction as it moves through its available travel.
By developing this design Yeti have been able to tune the suspension precisely and control the path of the rear axle. Around the new suspension platform is a custom butted hydroformed 6000 series aluminium frame with details including a tapered head tube and Yet’s Chip System rear axle design that allows a choice of rear hubs.
On paper that makes it one of the most exciting bikes of 2012. Find out more here.
