The 2004 Southern XC series gets underway this Sunday with Round One at the popular RATS course at Checkendon near Reading. It’s apparently the only race at the venue this year, so if you’re a Checkendon fan then mind you don’t miss out. It’s a cracking course too, with a bit of everything and lots of singletrack.

All the usual categories will be available from Fun to Expert, plus an under-10s race. You can enter on the day (which is a good thing at this point…) and if you go quick enough you might even win Real Cash Prizes!
