The National Deaf Children’s Society is appealing for riders to take part in the three-day sponsored ride over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The 309km route takes riders over the south downs and across the Normandy country-side. All that the NDCS require is that riders are willing to train and able to raise a minimum sponsorship of £750.
So far bike rides and treks for the NDCS have raised over six million pounds, and the London-Paris ride is just one of many trips that also include Trek China, Cycle Costa Rica, Cycle Cuba, Amazon Adventure and Trek the Inca Trail.
All this money goes to help the 840 children born each year in the UK with permanent significant hearing loss.
