Britain’s Air Ambulances, potentially a vital lifeline for anyone who likes a bit of outdoor recreation, are £10,000 richer this morning thanks to the sterling efforts of everyone involved in the RUSS Appeal/Trailbreak Ride For A Flight at Checkendon over the weekend.

Over 150 riders showed up to partake of Saturday’s leisure ride and Sunday’s tenner-a-lap charity marathon around the
<href=”http://www.ratmbc.co.uk/” target=”new”>RATZ MBC course. Between them they raised the aformentioned impressive total in a chilled atmosphere. Splendid stuff.

We’ll have a full report and pictures soon, but in the meantime thanks are due in particular to Trail Break, RATZ MBC as well as all the people, companies and organisations that helped out, even if we don’t know who you are. And of course everyone who showed up. A great effort all round…
