Level 1 course combining the training and assessment into one weekend. More qualified leaders are needed out there now, so why not learn and be assessed at the same time? All you need to do is meet the criteria through a pre-course workbook and the requirements of the weekend course (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday), hold a suitable first aid certificate, and you can become qualified for Level 1 terrain.
Of course the Level 1 course does not compromise the high standards of OTC courses or the expectations of Leaders operating in Level 1 terrain, so whether you are a leader or an employer of leaders, you can be sure that the Level 1 course ensures competence, and makes the best provision of mountrain biking in this useful environment.
The Skill Instructor course is out there ready. After a successful introductory course producing skill instructors including Tracey Moseley, the European downhill mountain bike champion, Emma Guy Downhill pro rider and Tracey Brunger, cross country pro rider, as well as many others, more Skill Instructor courses are running, starting in February. Make sure you don’t miss out on building others skills – get on the Skill Instructor course.
Have some great riding in 2001,
Dan Cook.
