For once in his mongrel life our news hunting oven glove has justified his name.
Yup, we can exclusively reveal – before we’re supposed to know – that freeride favourites Rocky Mountain bikes have inked a deal with distribution uberlords Madison. Madison already ‘do’ Shimano, Rock Shox, Mavic and a whole host of other big brands including their own Ridgeback bikes, but have been missing a ‘household name’ bike brand since Gary Fisher were bought by Trek.
Rocky Mountain had previously been imported by Maple Project, but the move to a big budget distributors should see them appearing in many more shops near you.
Look out for official confirmation and first tests of the 2001 bikes as soon as we can….
