Reach for the sky

Despite lousy weather, the purpose built Duel / Dual / BSX sites at Cherwell and Hayle are now up and running in a new and improved form.

Hayle have got a sponsor for a decent digital camera too, with several regular riders rumoured to be riding on prototypes shortly. More how to get there / how big / how lumpy / how jumpy information at the Hayle duel website.

The Cherwell Jump + Dual site is now fully operational following a National Lottery grant, the site currently has a 40 second BSX track with loads of jumps and a crossover, 2 seperate 10 packs, and a huge 4 pack, with much more to come.

The track will also be hosting the second round of the excellent KIS Dual / BSX series, for which they’re planning further expansion of the track. Even so as they say, “more people coming down and joining means more money, means bigger and better track. Annual membership is £30.00 or you can pay just £3.00 a day to ride. They’re open everyday from dawn till dusk on the A422 between Stratford and Banbury. Turn off the A422 at the north side of Hornton and the track is visible from the road on your right.

Anyone wanting more information about Cherwell should mail Darren Groom. Otherwise just turn up and jump till you drop.
