Time to get back into riding after the indulgences of the Christmas period have passed, and what better way than signing up for the Merida Brass Monkeys this weekend.
It’s the last round of the winter enduro series, and heads to Parkhurst Hill, Aldershot for another day of racing. With 1, 2, and 4-hour categories there’s something for everyone.
The course promises nearly 1000ft of total ascent encouraging ‘granny ring racing’ on the 8 mile lap but the organisers say there’s some rewarding descents.
Riders who want to be in with a chance of a winning a Series top 3 prize must have already scored points in rounds 1 and 2, and will also need to do so at round 3. This rewards the most consistent overall riders. Race prize presentations and the overall series presentations will be held as soon as possible after the main contenders have completed their races.
If you want to enter you have to do so in advance, there is no entry on the day. Head to www.meridabrassmonkeys.com to enter online now. .
