We’ve had this message from the father of British Junior MTB champion Katy Winton, who had her Kinesis 810 race hardtail stolen this week, just days before the Dalby XC race at the weekend.
“My daughter Katy Winton has had her Kinesis mountain bike stolen in Manchester this week while down training with the BC team. She is now without a bike for this weekends race in Dalby and we have to find a way to pay for a replacement. She is understandably gutted by losing her bike and the impact that has on her racing. Financially as her parents its a massive burden on top of the existing costs supporting Katy to race. Katy is currently the British Junior MTB champion and will be riding in the Dalby world cup next month.
“The bike is pretty unique coming in a very small frame(38cm) means it will only be suitable for someone under 5’5″ or 165cm. The frame also has Katys name on it although I assume the thiefs will remove this.”
Here’s the spec of the bike, which is pretty unique. Keep your eyes peeled.
