As stunts go, attempting to jump a mountain bike over the Great Wall of China looks like one of the more unlikely. And so it proved to be. Saturday’s Times contains a report of the death of Wang Jiaxiong, who misjudged his attempt to jump the wall. He used a launch ramp 80 yards long and 120ft high but parted company with the bike in the air.
