Golden boy out cold

Olympic Gold medallist, track sprinter Jason Queally has been knocked unconcious and suffered head injuries after a crash while group riding with the UK squad in the US.

Although Queally was saved from serious injury by his crash helmet, doctors have told him not to fly home for a planned guest appearance at the opening of a millennium cycle bridge in his home town of Lancaster. Not only will he miss out on the oversize scissor and ribbon action up north but he will also probably miss his hot date with the Queen who was to present him with his MBE at Buckingham palace.

Well, at least he’s probably still seeing stars in Florida.
