We’ve just been told of the confirmed survival what is currently of one of
Britain’s rarest sporting animals – the mountain bike race.

The Leisure Lakes race at Mere Brow, Tarleton this weekend (18th March) is
still going ahead. As the majority of the course is lakeside singletrack it’s
got MAFF clearance as long as they don’t get wind of a beak and web disease
outbreak among the local ducks.
