The first event of the Trailbreak winter Fat Tyre series was held two weeks ago at Princes Risborough in the Chilterns and we’ve just received full results.
The events share the popular “orienteering” concept with Polaris and Trailquest events with winners being those individuals or teams who reach the highest scoring checkpoints within the 3 and a half hour time limit. Nearly all categories were close run, with some only separated by a couple of minutes worth of penalty points.
As main sponsor, Bikemagic is proud to reveal the winner of the Bikemagic cap, awarded to whichever rider manages to get lost enough to rack up the most penalty points. Congratulations to Rai McLaren who rolled in over an hour late, to reduce his 180 point score to minus 130.
