Judging from the faces he’s pulled in MBR, Editor Kenny Pryde will be glad to stop pedalling and get down to some serious throttle twisting, knee sliding action as editor of Superbike magazine. Deputy Editor John Kitchiner slips into the tartan tainted driving seat but denied that Tech Ed Paul Burwell will be following King Kenny’s lead and turning up at London’s Eastway circuit on a 4-stroke ‘crosser.

Meanwhile down at Future Publishing in Bath an epic comic battle is being re-fought. Reporters on the scene tell us that HE-Man looks like being replaced by Skeletor.

Hot favourites to take over the What MTB production post include Skeletor (Mike Davis of MBUK.com, MBUK and Mountain Bike World fame) whose experience with demonic Goblin hordes make him ideal for controlling the current list What Mtb freelance contributors.

Anyone who hasn’t heard on the forum already may also like to follow the path of Britains self-confessed “shonkiest” journalist, William HJ Chippendale III or ‘Chipps’. Having parted company with 9 Feet.com as they headed down a more family friendly cycle path he’s hoisted up his oversize shorts and gone back to the real world of paper publishing. In between trying to arrange the Red Bull 24hr course and World Singlespeed Championships he’ll now be editing the new quarterly ‘Singletrack’ magazine for the Go Far (now Singletrackworld.com) website boys.

Nothing exciting to report here though, unless you count that Scoop built himself a new table a month or so back and can now see out of his kennel a bit better, and Cullen’s Sugar prize draw is confirming his reputation as something of a stirrer.
