Latest woeful foot and mouth, Police have closed the roads between the Duddon, Langdale and Eskdale valleys.

The Hardknott and Wrynose passes have also been closed, due to infections being found in free roaming fell sheep flocks.

As Jon Doran of OUTDOORSmagic commented “It’s really sad, they’re the ones with the nice pretty faces”.

Not all bad news though, as it seems that the government is now considering vaccination to slow down the spread of the disease and get the country back in working order ASAP.
