Already well known in the world of running and outdoor sports
RONHILL has teamed up with LEISURE LAKES, the chain of cycle shops to
back a four man road cycling team for the 2001 season.

RONHILL is at the forefront of development of technical sports
clothing and is one of the fastest growing brands of cycle clothing.
The cycling team will further promote this brand and will be seen at
all the major UK road cycling events.

The team led by international rider Lee Davis, (Gloucester), will
be a mixture of youth and experience and will include raw athletic
ability in the form of Rob Jebb, (Yorkshire). Rob has won the 3 Peaks
Cyclo-cross race, the Karrimore International Mountain marathon, has
represented Great Britain at international fell running events and is
an accomplished mountain biker. Having ridden for The PACE racing
team, we are awaiting his road debut with excitement! Completing the
team will be under 23 World Class Performance potential rider Andrew
Parsons,( Somerset) and Matt Watch,(Somerset) who have both won races
in the UK and overseas.

The team will be looking for top performances in the British
Premiere Calendar Road Race series and will be expecting Andrew
Parsons to challenge for top honours in the British Under 23 Road
Race series.

In his first outing for the team Lee Davies had a tremendous 9th
place in the Archer International GP, a UCI 1.5 ranked race over 117
miles. The team will look to build on this initial success in the
weeks to come and as the season progresses – more info. will
