Tracy Moseley honoured the rainbow stripes by romping to victory at the final round of the USA Pro GRT series in Lake Placid.
Moseley, wearing the world champions jersey for the first time after victory in Mont Saint Anne, clocked 07:44.36 minutes to also claim the overall series.
Jill Kitner was more than 35 seconds back in second, while Jacqueline Harmony completed the podium.
“It was a pretty fun race on a long and challenging downhill course,” said Trek World Racing rider Moseley.
“It feels good to end the season with a win, especially in my first race wearing the rainbow stripes. I definitely didn’t spare the horses!”
Meanwhile, the Trek team completed a one-two-three victory in the men’s race with Justin Leov, Andrew Neethling and Neko Mulally taking the honours respectively.
“I thought I’d figured everything out in Canada for the worlds so I was really disappointed with my crash there when I was 4th fastest at the split for the day,” said Leov.
“But today cemented the fact that I had figured things out. I rode strongly and aggressively and was so pleased with my run.”
To celebrate Trek World Racing’s world dominance, Trek will be distributing commemorative posters exclusively to the first 2500 riders who request one.
