If you’d like to spend some time this weekend riding smart bikes in ace countryside, then you could do a lot worse than head over to Wheelbase in Staveley, Cumbria for their Canadian Demo Weekend.

There’ll be demo bikes from Canuck faves Rocky Mountain, Kona and Cove available for guided Lakeland rides, plus assorted team riders will be around. As if that isn’t enough to tempt you, there’ll be a free prize draw, free pancakes and maple syrup and to complete the Canadian theme, a Mountie. No, really.
