The second, exclusive, Trailbreak Trans-Andean challenge is looming large on the calendar: 28th Sept – 14th Oct. And there are still a couple places left. Nine days riding across the Peruvian Andes is combined with a trip to Machu Picchu and a jungle expedition. Sounds mouthwatering when you compare it to two and half weeks normal life.
Phil Harrison from Trailbreak told us that
“the 500km ride travels from Cusco in Peru to
the Amazon basin near the Bolivian boarder.
The riders climb several passes over 4000m until they finally cross the
Andes at 4800m and then descend into the Amazon at only 138m”.
If this sounds even vaguely tempting then get on the blower, 0118 9860652, or visit Trailbreak’s nifty little website. Whatever you do don’t hang about as they as they only take 20 riders.
