Bobby Root “Freak rider of the Kona Out of Bounds Klump” pedalled his slick shod Kona Roast to 86.1 mph in the slipstream of a van and then pulled a 35 yard wheelie. Seemingly determined to let the Californina desert flats have their pound of flesh, he then took a second van assisted run to 56.4 mph and pulled the rear wheel up for a nose wheelie – another world record.

So next time you get passed in the fast lane of the M1 by a wheelie pulling punter smelling strongly of freshly cut logs, you know who it is.
