If you’re planning a ride in Dumfriesshire over the weekend of December 6 – 7th then take note: the Dalbeattie Hardrock trial will be closed for the Saturday night and the whole of Sunday morning because of a Motor Rally taking place in parts of the forest on the Sunday.

Rally Marshalls and support teams will take over the cyclists’ car park on the Sunday morning but the the trail should be open to riders again by 1.30 pm. If you are going riding in the area then the rally shouldn’t really get in your way as you could just pop over to Mabie forest to ride other 7stanes trails there, like the new Phoenix trail.
