If single-speed is your thing, get yourself to Jockstock 2001 on the
23rd and 25th of November.

The event, which is being held at Peebles in the Scottish Borders, promises
to be an informal gathering of like-minded souls with the emphasis being put
on beer, curry and having a laugh.

According the organisers, you’ll need:
“A relaxed head angle, Big tyres, warm and dry kit (lots), lights (if you
want), plenty’o’beer money, and a singlespeed bicycle (go on, make an
effort…join the freaks).”
