Seems like Trek are wanting to make maximum use of the legendary skills of the recently transferred Klein paint team.
They’ve now set up a ‘custom’ paint programme where you can choose from over a dozen frame finishes and an individual name for an OCLV 110 or 120 road bike. You then get a limited range of transmission, finishing kit and wheel up/downgrades to build your ideal tarmac tool.
It’s not quite the ‘Ultimate Custom’ they claim, as changes are largely limited to Trek / Bontrager equipment but if you’re wanting a bike like Lance’s that looks like one of a kind (well probably in England anyway) then it’s a nice option.
The optional donation of $100 to the Lance Armstrong cancer Foundation is also a neat touch, and they’ll paint the foundation logo on too.
Go for a play at projectone.trekbikes.com, and see if you like the Deep South finish as much as we do
