Anyone wanting a ride out with a group of celebrity riders and industry types stuffed to the gills with fine wine and food and catatonic from the after dinner speeches of Eurosport’s David Duffield should keep this weekend clear.

The route marked ride (25 or 40 miles) will leave from Hilton National Coventry hotel, (just off junction 2 on the M6 to Birmingham and the M69) at 9.30am on Sunday 19th. BCF president Brian Cookson and CTC president and commentator Phil Liggett will be riding and there’ll even be a support vehicle and tea and buns when you get back. The ride will be purely social, and all cyclists are welcome.
