2003 sees the second running of the Raw Experience Dyfi Enduro (Machynlleth, West Wales, 18 May 2003). The 55km route is largely unchanged from last year, and is claimed to be one of the most technical enduro courses. It’s a forest road climb/singletrack descent deal – the organisers say, “It’s probably a good plan to take more than one spare tube. And leave the 1.5s in the shed.”

There’ll be 4,500ft of climbing and, we expect, a broadly similar amount of descending. Hi-5 will provide rehydrating and revitalising energy drinks, while Motorex lubes will clean and relube your bike afterwards.
