Got room in your diary for another enduro? Turn to Sunday 7 September 2003 and scrawl “Brecon Beacons Beast 100km” in the space provided. For that is when it is. It’s a chaaaridee enduro which last year raised over £2,500. 350 riders took part in 2002, and this year you can look forward to a similar route. It includes the trails of Fan Gihirych and Sarn Helen before climbing The Gap track and following extra off-road and singletrack sections on the way back towards Brecon. There’s also a 60km option for the less mileage-hungry.
