Dartington teenager Paul Williams celebrated winning the Devon and Cornwall junior championship in the 42-mile Tedburn St Mary Cycling All-Category Road Race at the weekend.
The 17-year-old, riding for Ashburton MBC and Trek, was also 13th overall, and the only junior to complete the demanding East Devon course.
Cycling all-rounder Williams, a student at King Edward VI College, Totnes, has moved up from juvenile to junior racing this year and won the Sams Mountain Bike Race in Wiltshire the previous week.
