In recognition of all the hardwork and the quality of their courses, the NACC / On-A-Bike downhill summer 2001 series will be recieving full National rankings points. If you want to plan your series asault early, then head for their diary page here.
In the meantime, the winter series is still going downhill as fast as the climate with the following rounds still to run.
Round 3 Sunday November 19th
For round three the series heads to the home of South West Downhilling,
the ever popular Ashcombe Valley. Situated just off the M5 Motorway near
Exeter, it is an easy to get to all weather venue
Round 4 Sunday December 10th
Our Christmas round is also at Ashcombe but on the berms course with a new
section at the top
Round 5 Saturday February 17th
For February it is back to Ashcombe, but over a completely different
course to rounds 3&4
Round 6 Saturday March 17th
The location of the final round of both the Onabike Winter Series and the Remec SuperCup
has yet to be confirmed.
In preparation for next season, Carbon DH bike manufacturers Remec are looking to support five riders through their co-factory deals, (two places have already been filled) so they are currently looking for three more downhill riders from anywhere in the UK to join this project.
Riders will be supplied with a half price DH Pro frame and subsidised parts, race shirt, sweat shirts etc. Check out the full details by clicking here.
