Mountain Cycle, the long established masters of monocoque mountain bikes have set up a European test centre at Morzine in the French Alps.
Less than an hour from Geneva airport, Morzine has a massive ski lift network connecting to the stunning trails of the “Portes Du Soleil” ski area (France/ Switzerland). Andy Newsome from Mountain Cycle UK was blown away “I rode 75kms via the lift network in one day; What a place to do a Mountain Cycle European product launch!”There are 5 bikes in the test fleet so far, and these are already being booked up well in advance, but there are palns for a fleet of 30 rigs by 2002. SRAM are joining the test scheme shortly with other manufacturers looking for a slice of the action too, so expect these bike to be fitted with the latest kit.
