The final stage of the production of the MTB-Marathon Guidebook has just started so if you have not taken part in any of the ‘100’ events, or haven’t specifically subscribed to it, make sure you do so straight away. The magazine is full of useful tips and tricks when it comes to riding long distance events. It has reviews of all the 2004 events, an in-depth training planner, a diet planner, all the information about the upcoming 2005 season, a FAQ section, a full size entry form and a technical section with advice on how to get your bike as marathon ready as it can ever be.
If you want to receive a copy please just go on to www.mtb-marathon.co.uk and send us your full postal address. The magazine will be with you in the next 3-4 weeks.
The temporary entry forms have now been replaced by the ‘real’ one. Previous participants of the series should have had their entry forms through the post already, but if you haven’t and you are keen to get one please send an SAE to: Merida 100 MTB Marathon Enduro Series, Attn: John Lloyd, Builth Wells Cycles, Smithfield Road, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3AN.
Entries are going well with almost 1,000 entries being registered at the Merida 100 office. So far the EXPOSURE LIGHT’S BIG NIGHT OUT and the Selkirk round have proven very popular. If you are keen to get hold of one of the limited free loans of an EXPOSURE ENDURO LIGHT for the night marathon in April then don’t wait any longer and make sure you get your entry in soon. Further updates on the EXPOSURE LIGHT’S BIG NIGHT OUT are available on www.mtb-marathon.co.uk.
