For many it’s been a long season of racing and riding, but while most are winding down for the winter, the organisers behind the ever-popular Gorrick series have announced details of its last two races of 2010.
The first is on Sunday 17 October at the Tunnel Hill, Pirbright venue in Surrey, followed by Crowthorne Wood, Berkshire on Sunday 14 November.
Neither of these events are part of the series so it’s a good opportunity, if you wanted it, to move up the next category. If you’re yet to dabble your toe in the world of XC racing, why not try the Beginner or Fun category?
For added interest the Tunnel Hill Trolls will be holding a handicap sprint race in the afternoon at Classic 1, and Berks on Bikes will be holding theirs in the afternoon of Classic 2 – these are always good fun.
As many of you have noticed, pre-entry is already open and you can pre-enter online until the evening of the Tuesday before each event. If you do, please remember to bring along your receipt in case of any query. Otherwise, as with all our events, you can always enter on the day. Full details on www.gorrick.com.
