Giant has opened the doors to its latest retail store in Radlett, Hertfordshire.
The store is the manufacturer’s seventh since making the move into retail, following shops in Bristol, Bromley, Cambridge, Liverpool, Rutland and Twickenham.
“The store has already caused quite a stir in the local community, apparently a bike shop is long overdue in these parts,” said company director Dan Chapman.
“We believe we offer a refreshing retail experience which consumers are already embracing.”
Radlett is sandwiched between the M25 and M1 with the store located on Watling Street.
“We love all things cycling. We are really excited about the future and see ourselves as being the hub for everything cycling in this area,” added store manager Anthony Welton.
Ian Beasant, managing director of Giant UK, commented: “We saw Radlett as not only a great opportunity to service the local community but also an accessible location for anybody wanting to visit a Giant brand store.
“The store roll out is having a very positive effect on Giant brand awareness and demand – this really is taking retailing to the next level.”
