Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate in Scotland is offering mountain bikers a 2 for the price of 1 deal in October.

The private estate, which is located in Dumfries and Galloway, has dedicated trails on 80,000 acres of land.

Drumlanrig is one of the UK’s premier venues for cross country racing and, with this 2 for 1 offer, admission equates to £2.50 per adult.

Since 2002 Drumlanrig has played host to the National Points Series and Scottish Cross Country Mountain Bike Championships.

The trails at Drumlanrig have been designed, crafted and cultivated over three years into a network of single track trails.

Drumlanrig Castle and its surrounds have been popular with cyclists for many years. In the early 19th century, Kirkpatrick Macmillan, the inventor of the first bicycle propelled by pedals, had his first job as a Blacksmith at Drumlanrig where he learned his trade.
