After a hard days testing with his Mclaren team Alexander Wurz decided to ride home with his mate Markus Rainer.
Thing is they were testing in Monza, and Wurz’s house in Monaco is over 350km away across the Italian Alps. Still Wurz has obviously been a damn keen biker since his BMX days when he was a World Champion at the age of 12 and he told Formula1.com;

“I arrived with a big smile and a sore bum! I had lead for the whole 150km from Cuneo back home but was happy that Markus had managed to keep going with me, otherwise it would have been a lonely trip,”

“Two litres of ice tea on the balcony of my apartment as, satisfied but tired, I examined my wounds, that were really only sunburn and aching limbs. We did it, it was a cool trip,”
