Assuming that you’ve got a TV in your house, you’re probably familiar with Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning series Faking It. That’s the one where they pluck someone from a particular background and way of life and drop them into a completely new, yet tangentially connected, world. Sheep shearer to top hairdresser, professional cellist to club DJ, that sort of thing. The participants get a month to immerse themselves in their new lifestyle and learn the skills involved before they have to fake it before a panel of judges.
It’s good stuff, which is probably why they’re working on the fourth series right now. And yes, this is where you lot come in…
The producers of the show are looking for men to take part in the next series. In particular, they’re looking for a mountain biker. There are other criteria too – you need to be a dad and/or househusband (very 21st century…), aged between 26 and 36, working from home or looking after children, physically fit and, somewhat importantly, able to take four weeks out for “an intense period of filming”.
Sounds like you? Pick up the phone and contact Nicky Waltham at RDF Media on 0207 013 4472 or email [email protected]. Oh, and let us know if you get in…
