JD cycles in Ilkley is the first location of Rocky Mountain’s rolling roadshow, with 8 bikes ready for test rides on Saturday 17th of November.

This is the first year Rocky have had a big name distributor in the UK and both the bikes and the back- up look excellent. With rigs from the race ready Scandium framed Vertex or Element Team SC bikes through the sublime 853 steel Blizzard to the big hitting Slayer and RM7 freeride bikes there’ll should be an ideal ride for everyone.

It’s no ‘scoot round the car park’ job either. Team Marie Curie riders (who are now sponsored by Rocky Mountain) will be leading guided rides up onto the excellent local trails, or you can book a solo ride with one of the teamsters. To keep your enthusiasm fuelled up they’ll even have a barbecue on the go.

The test day starts at 10am, with group rides at 11am, 1pm or 3pm, or individual rides at 10am, 12pm or 2pm. You’ll find JD’s on Nelson Road, Ilkley, but for more details and to confirm a place ring Ruth on 01943 816101.
