The Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon Series has gained further support with the announcement that Mercedes-Benz will sponsor the marathon series through 2010.

It’s now possible to enter the Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon Series powered by the Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport events at the freshly updated website, www.mtb-marathon.co.uk. 

You can find all the details on the general marathon concept and lots of information, facts and figures on the five events. Besides that the website features a detailed and event specific training plan as well as lots of technical and diet information.

New for 2010 is that the online entry will be hosted on Chain Reaction Cycles offering fast and straightforward entry into the events paired with the rather attractive offer of a 5% discount voucher for your next CRC goods purchase. But don’t worry if you do prefer the good old paper entry, that option will still be available via the entry page on the event website. Sorry here no 5% discount though.

The first event of the series is nearly upon us. The Exposure Lights Big Night Out kicks off on 10 April at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells. The 40km night marathon will be followed by the Sunday Spring marathon which will offer three distances.

Riders who are going for the weekend double don’t need to worry about doing the same course twice as John Lloyd will throw in lots of extra and different stuff in for Sunday. There’s also a £15 discount if you enter both events.

The MTB-Marathon Guidebook 2010 will be ready for dispatch at the beginning of March and will be sent to everyone who has taken part in the events in the past.
