The popular Howies Dyfi Enduro takes place on 2 May 2010 in Machynlleth, West Wales and today online entry has been made available.
The organisers will only be accepting online entries, and with numbers limited to just 650, it’s wise to get your entry in as soon as possible if you don’t want to miss out on this classic event.
“We have been busy working hard to ensure that the 2010 is another one to remember, bands, films, beer, good food and a long ride in the woods. No better way to spend the May Bank Holiday weekend,” commented the organisers.
The overall ride format of the event will remain the same as previous years, with the big group lead out on the back road up to Ceinws, followed by a demanding 45 km off-road loop in the Dyfi forest, as in previous years, the route will be technically, as well as physically challenging.
Due to changing trail conditions, and forestry work the exact route has yet to be confirmed. Because the route uses some sections of private land there will be no route map in advance.
The first 250 riders through will take a slightly longer, slightly more arduous route, to even out the finish times a little. The organisers will be separating times and routes, so you will be able to see which route you did, and how long it took.
