Saturday 6 March will see the British Mountain Bike Demo series finally get underway after months of planning.
Eight top brands; Specialized, Giant, Trek, Gary Fisher, Genesis, Yeti, Santa Cruz and Merida will be at Glentress to offer up an assortment of mountain bikes that, with a little bit of ID, you can pop a leg over and hit the trails.
“This will undoubtedly be the biggest gathering of bike brands for demo purposes and it will certainly be a marriage made in heaven! To top it all we’ll be situated in the bottom car park with the Hub close at hand for lashings of hot drinks and scrummy cakes,”says organiser Martyn Salt.
Keeping your energy levels topped up during all this riding, nutrition brand Accelerade will be handing out free samples. And for your luggage concerns Osprey backpacks will be on hand showing off their latest products.
The Demo kicks off at 10am and will run until 4pm. There’s no need to pre-book, just turn up with two forms of ID, which should either include a driving licence or passport and either a credit or debit card. The Demo itself is free, just the car park charges to pay for.
As well as heading to Glentress this Saturday, there are five more dates where you can catch up with us and come and have a ride and a chat. The next demo day will be at Sherwood Pines on the 27/28 March. World Champion DH rider Steve Peat will be making an appearance.
