SIZE=”2″ FACE=”Arial”>One of cyclings greatest innovators and the ‘tailor of champions’
Armando Castelli passed away age 82 last weekend near his home of Rosate in northern
Italy.
Though his name may now be better known for the glittery cat-suits of Paula Pezzo,
Castelli made his name with riders like Jaques Anquetil, Fausto Coppi and the like.
His skilled tailoring wasn’t just demanded by cyclists, as he even dressed ballet
divas from La Scala in Milan.
