Can’t see the wood for the trees

We thought the gorse bushes, nettles and brambles were getting worse every year and now it’s been proven by land mapping satellites.

According to their studies of fauna images from the last twenty years, the land above 40 degrees north latitude (New York City, Madrid, Beijing) has been getting a lot greener. The growing season in Eurasia is no 18 days longer than it was in 1981, with spring coming a week early and summer hanging on for another ten days. Probable causes are increased greenhouse gasses and global warming, but it certainly explains why the singletrack has been getting alot more overgrown recently.
