If you want to know what riding’s like when you’re really on top of the world then here’s an opportunity for you to find out. Phil Etherington and his pal have ridden for over 1200 km unsupported from Lhasa to Kathmandu including a stop-off at the Everest base camp for good measure.
Now the pair are delivering a presentation on their epic venture at the Royal Geographical Society (London)on January 17th 2002, where you’ll be able to hear and see all about it.
All proceeds will go to the UK Stroke Association who the ride was in aid of. For more details contact Phil himself; [email protected].
