Were you tough enough last year? Did you venture forth to find out what the Army can do for you? Well fear not in because in just a few short weeks, it’s back and bigger and believe it or not better, with an exhilarating 8-mile course that’s been tweaked to perfection.
Despite the name, Porridgepot Hill, you wont find a sluggish, heavy going circuit. Far from it, the course is a blast of fast flowing singletrack interspersed with fire roads to give you a breather before hitting some short sharp hills to let you know you’re still alive.
More importantly we believe you’ll find it’s a non-stop action pack circuit that’s fun all the way. With lively section names along the way such as ‘Hairy Trees’, ‘The Drop In Surgery’, ‘Pants Way Down’ and ‘No Quitting’, you know this enduro will bring a smile to your face as you complete your challenge.
There’s something for everyone; 2-hours, 4-hours and 6-hours, solo, team, and if you just want a taster there’s even a fun ride too. Don’t worry if you don’t think you can reach for those top podium steps yet as there will be an abundance of spot prizes on offer throughout the event.
If after all the exertion you still have the energy, event sponsors Giant will be on hand offering you the chance to demo a full range of their top bikes. But if you just want to chill in the arena you can soak up the atmosphere watching as riders complete their races, whilst refueling thanks to free bars and drinks from Goodness Shakes and Mulebar, or take advantage of on-site caterers whilst partaking of some retail therapy on hand thanks to Generation Sports and Cycle, Superstar Components and DirtWorker.
Entries are available on the day but why not avoid the queues and save some cash by getting your entry in now, that way you can help us guarantee a little bit of sunshine.
