After facing closure and then being saved by Planet-X buying the US brand, Titus is back to doing what it does best; building great looking high quality frames.
The first out of the stable and ready for release early next year is this, the great looking Titus Rockstar 29er. Rear travel is 100mm with a custom tuned RockShox Monarch RT3 with a full carbon rear triangle keeping the weight down. A carbon yoke further drops a few grams.
The frame sees improvements over the current Rockstar, with a higher bottom bracket, short top tube and increased rear triangle clearance due to a new profile seat tube. Head angle is 70º and the seat angle is 73º. The head tube is now tapered with a 1.5in lower bearing race.
The front triangle is complete new, made from custom tubes, with all frames assembled in the company’s Portland facility, ensuring that quality standards are kept high.
Cost is £999 for the frame. A carbon frame in development too. More details when we get them…
