Last week we brought you an exclusive first look at the all-new 29er hardtail being developed by Kinesis, and today news reaches us that it has gone into production.
They’ve settled on FF29 for the name, and three sizes will be offered. A choice of ‘packages’ will be available, with either an IX carbon rigid fork or XFusion suspension fork, or an optional upgrade of a pair of Reynolds XC29er wheels.
“These pics of a 3/4 built raw p.type, give an idea of how the FF29 will look with the rigid carbon IX fork, although all these graphics are paper! [the fork will be clear coat UD carbon finish with White/Metallic Grey decals, NOT the White painted area as shown],” says designer Dom Mason.
Finally, three colours, Diamond Black, Metallic Grey and Sick Green Metallic will be available in the catalogue.
Expected delivery of the first batch is February/March
Like we alluded to previously, we were fortunate enough to get a ride on the prototype, watch out for those words very soon.
